Jockey Club Condominium Associations File New Complaint Against Apeiron and Other Club Residents

MIAMI, Fla. June 28, 2016 – Following the filing of an initial lawsuit in March against real estate developer Apeiron Miami, LLC, on behalf of the 259 unit owners in Jockey Club Buildings I and II, Heller Waldman has now filed a subsequent complaint in the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Miami-Dade County on behalf of these residents. The latest suit, as reported by The RealDeal, seeks damages and relief from Apeiron to block it from taking over the Jockey Club’s common areas and calls for the remaining building, Jockey Club III, which signed a deal with the developer in exchange for a number of inducements, to adhere to its obligations to the other buildings. “We’re not going to sit idly by, as Apeiron tries to use deteriorating infrastructure as a pawn to gain approvals for its project,” Glen Waldman said.
